AN INVITATION TO HOLIDAY GIVING
CanDo’s Napa Valley GIVE!GUIDE Is Live!
This is the fourth year that Napa County’s League of Women Voters has participated in the Give!Guide (G!G), our only official fundraiser. This year, we are one of 77 nonprofits receiving donations through G!G’s website, candogiveguide.org, until midnight on New Year’s Eve. The League depends on these funds to help us “Make Democracy Work.”Here are some of the things the League will be doing during the 2024 election year to help educate voters.
provide in-depth background on local, state, and national candidate races and state ballot measures on the League’s VOTE411 website.
hold nonpartisan candidate forums for local elected officials.
present unbiased pro and con arguments on ballot measures.
simul-translate candidate forums and other election-related events from English into Spanish.
distribute, free of charge, English and Spanish “Easy Voter” guides.
inform voters about election-related deadlines.
assist student leaders to present voter information in high school classrooms.
give information on voting and elections by “tabling” or lecturing to various groups.
Your donation helps make these important election activities possible. If you wish to volunteer, please send a message to LWVNapa@gmail.com and we’ll be in touch.
